Ilu Ilu x Medicom Toy Project 1/6

Newcomer from Kobe “ilu ilu” have created couple sets of cool toys
Neo Gorilla & Kaizo Ningen together with one of the biggest toy

companies Medicom. Ilu Ilu is a one-man operation. The figures

were sculpted and painted by one guy - 板口明宏 Akihiro Sakaguchi.

Eric So x Yasumasa “Yone” Yonehara Vinyl Figure

Hong Kong Master vinyl maker Eric So has teamed up with

Japanese photographer Yasumasa “Yone” Yonehara on this

upcoming figure. Mixed with Eric So’s clean lines and round

edges, the character cleary exhibits some of Yone’s signature

semi-erotic flavor.

Pregnant woman figures

These hand-made pregnant woman figure is made in the 19-century, so don’t

think that Ebay’s can help you out wit this one.

During the 18th and 19th centuries, sideshow carnivals known as misemono

were a popular form of entertainment for the sophisticated residents of

Edo (present-day Tokyo). The sideshows featured a myriad of educational

and entertaining attractions designed to evoke a sense of wonder and

satisfy a deep curiosity for the mysteries of life. One popular attraction

was the pregnant doll.
