path at the young age of fourteen in Jakarta, Indonesia.

who started writing in Jakarta in 1997.
During the tour, our man Dickid did a few presentation about the Chinese Hip Hop scene
especially in Guangzhou. Dickid was pretty active in the urban culture documentary or video
production field in China, he showed us several videos he did and each of them captured
me. Out of the many interesting videos he showed, I chose one and would like to share
to you. KiDgOd, one of the representative rappers from Guangzhou did a collaboration with
Uprooted Sunshine, a crew based in Shanghai with international members which produces
Dub, Reggae and Roots-muziek. They did a nice track together called “The Soul Project”
and Dickid did the video editing. Check it out.
