CASIO G-SHOCK recently kicked things off for their six month

“SHOCK THE WORLD” campaign. In honor of the South East Asia

leg, “SHOCK THE WORLD” has partnered with various popular local

figures including Taiwanese fixed gear crew Nabiis, 24HERBS and

Singaporean design studio :phunk. Each one created limited one-off

designs of classic G-SHOCK models such as the DW-6900 and DW-5600.

The graffiti world recently lost one of its greatest pioneers with the unfortunate

passing of Mike Martin, also known as Iz The Wiz. For many of you that do not

know, IZ TMB, was a subway god. One of the pioneers of graffiti and the New

York graffiti subway era, Martin also proved a positive voice making graffiti an

acceptable art form and making it more about freedom of creativity rather than

anything else.

What can you do with bra for the environment besides the purpose for

attracting your boys? A pair of miso soup and rice themed bras were designed

and here the lingerie designer Triumph International explains,

“My Chopsticks Bra is a bid to promote reusable chopsticks and reducethe waste

that disposable utensils create. Japanese toss 25 billion chopsticks away annually.

IIt’s a small step, but because many Japanese chopsticks are disposable,

big chunks of forests are being cut down,” said Hiromi Shinta, spokeswoman for the company.
