The Red Pad as known as the “mobile business platform” for officials, it offers
access to internal documents, statements of top leaders and a comprehensive
database of government contact information. According to the media, the public
will not have access to this device. The tablet costs $1,600 dollars, however,
Red Pad Technology will not sell the product to the public but only to bureaucrats.

I guess most of us may not have chance to test it, BUT, Taobao, also known
as Chinese ebay, may give you hope. They were featuring a “Black Pad” to consumers
for $160, saying it beats the Red Pad “used by corrupt officials”.

The UFO catcher from the title is referred to the classic Japanese arcade game:
The Almighty UFO Catcher (or claw crane game). How large is it? It is as large as
a small house and the prizes are larger than you are.

Last year I made a post about Japanese vending machines. You can purchase
nearly anything as soon as you can think of it. Apart from buying goods,
Japan has upped the ante once again and begun to stock its vending machines
with the greatest product of them all - the internet.
Finding wireless internet in Japan can be super difficult while Japan has some
of the speediest internet in the world. Fortunately, beer titan and vending machine
operator Asahi has decided to combine Japan’s fast internet and awesome
vending machines into a vending machine that dispenses free wireless internet.

If you are not those people who are keen on technology and wi-fi is not
what you desire from the vending machines in Japan, maybe a pack of fresh
banana? It is possible.

Just came across my friend Ole’s blog, found this interesting photo that
shows how those Shaolin Kung Fu students practice their concentration.
Do you want to learn?

Many people may have blurry understanding about the language Cantonese
and Mandarin. Cantonese is the major spoken language of Guangzhou (Southern China),
Hong Kong and Macau. And Mandarin is the standard literary and official form of
Chinese based on the Beijing (Northern China) dialect.
Next year March, the Canton Province, where the Cantonese comes from,
the media there including TV channel, radio, web audio channels will be limited
to use Mandarin. The media can only use Cantonese for their programs as soon
as their content is approved.
It is sad to hear my mother tongue is going to be trimmed and it looks like it will
be going worse. Some writers did their pieces “Cantonese” in tradition Chinese
and simplified Chinese in order to show their anger or support to their own language.

It is not hard to see how the people from the East of the world try to
interpret the Western culture with intricate message or graphic and unacceptable
mistake onto a t-shirt. On the other side of the world, you can also easily find
how the people from the West of the world try to interpenetrate Sushi
and their own culture.

The following pictures are really bad samples that can show you how Sushi
was “originated” by American, perhaps these are unforgivable to the Japanese.
