“The first time ever my father took me to the movies, I was engulfed by a whole
new world on a huge screen. Though 30 years have passed since then, that mesmerizing
experience still gives me a thrill. I firmly believe everyone has his or her own movies that stir
priceless memories and deepl touch you like mine always do. I have anxiously searched
the ways to relive those extraordinary feelings for a long time. Finally the movie figures
gave me the answer.” said by Woong Cho who opened his dream restaurant for displaying
his movie-related items collection lately in Korea.
Collecting movie figures for more than 10 years was not something Woong Cho
could do with just time and money. Only strong commitment and endless
enthusiasm to build a place and share all these things with people could fulfill
Woong Cho. CW restaurant is a place of Woong Cho’s dream and passion.
Perhaps yours and mine too. Do you find your favourite figure here?

The UFO catcher from the title is referred to the classic Japanese arcade game:
The Almighty UFO Catcher (or claw crane game). How large is it? It is as large as
a small house and the prizes are larger than you are.

If you are a fan of Instant noodle, perhaps you know this year is the 40th anniversary
of Nissin Foods. Apart from opening a new Instant noodle museum , Nissis
together with Japan’s Vstone robotics developed this sick Cup Noodle Robotimer
which could transform into real robot. Thanks Johann for sharing.
Not sure if you’ll be able to get the Cup Noodle Robotimer outside of Japan
any time soon. Apparently, these are being sold under some sort of a lottery
system and only with proof of noodle purchase.
