Sg. Klang Rive Bank in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is probably a paradise to many
people who admire graffiti and would spend a day to just keep walking and looking
at the graffiti art on the walls. On the 25th and 26th of last month, the Kul Sign team
ran the event two days entirely and it was a great weekend for most of the people.

Back in Dec 2010, Kul Sign Festival debuted to rejuvenate the Klang River bank’s
concrete walls with new artwork. It was also a platform create by the local municipal council,
DBKL, to give recognition to graffiti artists and celebrate some of the other emerging
urban culture like street art, mural painting, street photography, b-boy, extreme sports,
creative entrepreneurs showcase etc.




Apart from all the basic urban culture contents, what surprise me from
Kul Sign this year is, Pentax ran a photo contest with two interesting categories
- ‘Graffiti moment’ & Pentax moment’. On top of that, there was a best of
