Having help from my friend, Masa was trying to hook me up with
Warren Stuart, who have been doing a lot to the Hong Kong skateboard scene,
on getting free space in skate park to paint on. The idea is just trying to get an open
area for HK writers or whoever come from aboard so that they know where to paint.
And we thought all these skate parks are kind of dull, they just need some colors..ha!

Unfortunately, since the skate parks belong to the gov’t, and the gov’t wants to
keep HK clean : ) Well I assume it couldn’t be that easy, anyway, this is not
what I want to bring you. Through the email, I noticed Warren was mentioning
some news about the HK skate parks.

Therefore I go check the HKskateboarding, when I see the following photos,
OMG…I just couldn’t believe that HK is building a skate park sick like this! It’s located to
somewhere close to Wong Tai Sin.

This skate park is designed by Simon Oxenham, Managing Director
of Convic Skatepark Designs, together with Darren White. Simon Oxenham
has built many top skate parks in the world, including SMP in Shanghai
and the Xtreme park in Singapore. Both of them are hardcore skater too.
Man, imagine how much effort they have to put to make this happen!

Although I don’t skate, people around me are always having fun
on their skateboard. I enjoyed watching them a lot but now I’m jealous!
Because they’ll have perhaps the coolest place to skate with in Asia where is
right here in Hong Kong! I’m super glad that finally I see place like this
in our city, guess the local crowd will be driven to there! And guys, you should
check it out next time when you are here!

Thanks to Masa for trying to help out. Much respect to Warren, Simon, Darren Whit,
and anyone who was involved!
