It is like a dream work for most of the designers or illustrators that
the client with be down with whatever they provide. But where can you find a job
like that? My homie Supe, aka Le Team Manager from Paris, who is the first European
to join the pro artist team of a California brand LGR (Lifted Research Group)
that he has the “dream work” offer like I mentioned by LGR.
Supe is also a founding member of FMK crew and his T-shirt series for LGR
is coming soon. Let’s visit Supe’s studio.
Thanks Julien for sharing.
The Japanese sensation called, デコトラ (dekotora, short for decoration truck)
has been around since the late 1960s.

Originally present only in northern Japan, the art of truck decorations
went mainstream with the release of the 1975 Toei (the company that produces
the awesome Kamen Rider series) movie, とらっくやろう (Torakku Yarô, Trucker)
and it’s subsequent sequels.

A lot of technology, engineering, and time goes into designing and setting up
the very elaborate light display that I can see. There must be a costly fix for
the truckers after hitting a small bump.
Here are some more dekotora photos. The images do speak for themselves.

Armed with their Fresh Push Play iPhone App, Hifana took to the streets
of a once again bustling and vibrant Tokyo to sample the city sounds,
followed by an electrifying live set at night performed with only iPhone
and iPad. Check the video directed by W+K Tokyo Lab.

Alessi, a kitchen utensil company from Italy has transformed the gallery space
into a mahjong room earlier during the Beijing Design Week. The space was
filled with 12 tables, eight of which displayed the tray prototypes. Each table
had four drawers opened to reveal LCD panels displaying detailed information
about the products and the show itself. It is interesting to see how the company
interpreted the Chinese tradition in a modern way.

If you are a fan of Instant noodle, perhaps you know this year is the 40th anniversary
of Nissin Foods. Apart from opening a new Instant noodle museum, Nissis
together with Japan’s Vstone robotics developed this sick Cup Noodle Robotimer
which could transform into real robot. Thanks Johann for sharing.

Not sure if you’ll be able to get the Cup Noodle Robotimer outside of Japan
any time soon. Apparently, these are being sold under some sort of a lottery
system and only with proof of noodle purchase.
